The Exam

What is NATA?

NATA, the National Aptitude Test in Architecture, is the gateway to B.Arch admissions across India's top architecture colleges, from Sir J.J. College of Architecture and CEPT Ahmedabad to BRICKS Pune and beyond. The exam tests drawing ability, spatial thinking, visual reasoning, and architectural awareness, skills that need consistent, guided practice to develop. If you are a Class 11 or 12 student with Physics and Mathematics, and architecture is where you see yourself, the right preparation makes all the difference. My Design Academia's NATA coaching in Viman Nagar, Pune is built around exactly that: structured classes, expert feedback, and real exam simulation.

Why Choose Us

Why NATA Needs More Than Self-Study

NATA is not a test you can crack by reading alone. Part A demands hours of drawing practice: composition, colour, proportion, and 3D thinking. Part B tests architectural GK, logical reasoning, and design sensitivity. Students who walk in underprepared almost always struggle with time and technique. Our architecture entrance coaching in Pune addresses both parts with equal depth.

  • Dedicated drawing sessions: colour, composition, and 3D model work
  • Architectural GK, visual reasoning and aptitude, covered weekly
  • Timed mock tests designed around NATA entrance exam preparation: format, timing and scoring
  • Personal feedback on every drawing submission
How We Train

Preparation
Approach

Composition & Colour
Creating compositions for various situations and colouring them appropriately, the 25-mark A1 question practised until it becomes instinct.

Depicting scenes involving buildings, people, and environment with proportion and scale awareness, structured freehand practice every session.
3D Composition
Creating 3D compositions using a given kit based on a situation , hands-on spatial thinking that most students have never trained for.
Visual Reasoning & Aptitude
Understanding and interpreting visual elements, deductive and inductive reasoning, covered weekly in focused Part B sessions.
Architectural GK
Awareness of architectural history, terminology, and major design movements, the knowledge base that separates prepared candidates from the rest.
Mock Tests & Feedback
Timed full-length mock tests: offline drawing plus adaptive online MCQ/NCQ, with personal feedback on every submission.
