A candidate, including a foreign national, must simultaneously fulfil all three criteria to appear for UCEED 2025:

| Number of Attempts | Maximum of two attempts, and that too in consecutive years. UCEED score is valid for one year and only for admissions in the same academic year. |
| Qualifying Exam | Must have appeared for Class XII (or equivalent) for the first time in 2024 or 2025. Students from all streams (Science, Commerce, Arts & Humanities) are eligible. |
